New Salesforce Technical Consultant: Meet Sunny

Meet our newest Technical Consultant, Sunny Doshi. Sunny packed up and moved to Sydney from Mumbai to join our team, is passionate about technology and loves to push the limits of the Salesforce platform for customers. He was referred to us by our Lead Technical Consultant, Nikunj, who also happens to be his brother. Sunny has gotten into cricket over here in Sydney as he played back home and hopes for another Aus v. India matchup in the Cricket World Cup. Sunny worked as a Technical Consultant with Deloitte in India and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering. He loves to go out and dance and is looking forward to making a new circle of mates over here in Australia.

We asked him a few questions…

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
I love to binge watch different TV series, movies, or pick up new hobbies that I can practise in my spare time. When I get bored with what I am doing, I like to change it up and try something new. Currently, I am learning to play the ukulele.

What would you sing at karaoke night?
I love slow rhythmic romantic songs so maybe ‘Dil Diya Gallan’, which is a Bollywood song. See you at karaoke night!

Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I am a great bathroom singer! You can always find me chirping some song or other when I’m at home.

What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?
I would say Youtube as it has the power to make me laugh, cry, or gain more knowledge at any given time.

What is your favourite place to go in Sydney?
The area surrounding the Sydney Opera House. It’s beautiful, you have the soothing sound of water, street acts going on, the view of amazing Harbor Bridge and, of course, the Opera house itself. Lucky to have our office just 2 mins from it.

What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Sydney?
I love quick food and my go-to would be a burger. I’ve found the mushroom burgers from Mary’s and Betty’s to be really delicious.

Something you may not yet know about me – I’m vegetarian.

What attracted you to ProQuest?
ProQuest’s customer centric approach and the way the team works in a completely agile manner really attracted me. The great reviews by clients and my brother didn’t hurt either 😉

What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
Its people. The team which we have here are all so energetic, knowledgeable and focussed. I am getting to learn a lot from them already. Obviously the fun stuff as well – team events and lunches that we do every week are great 🙂
