Things from Dreamforce 25 That We’re Most Excited About

Dreamforce #DF25 might be over, but we’re still riding the wave of all the big announcements. Salesforce packed this year with game-changing updates that are going to shape how businesses use AI, data, and automation for years to come.

We’ve rounded up 5 things we’re most excited about. These are the ones that made us lean forward in our seats and think, "Okay... this changes everything."

1. Agentforce 360: The Brains Behind the Agentic Future

Agentforce 360 is Salesforce’s new platform for building AI agents that don’t just answer questions. They take action, follow your processes and work alongside your team to get real work done.

What makes this different is how everything now connects. Agentforce 360 brings together four of Salesforce’s heavy hitters: Agentforce Platform, Data 360 (formerly known as Data Cloud), Customer 360 Apps and Slack. That means agents have direct access to your trusted data, workflows and tools from day one while being grounded in governed and trusted data, so they can start delivering value immediately into every industry with tailored solutions and services.

If you have a sales agent that captures new leads, a marketing agent that nurtures them and a service agent that supports customers after they buy, Agentforce 360 brings them together. These agents can now share information, coordinate their next steps and keep the process moving without teams needing to manually pass tasks between them. Humans stay in control, guiding the overall strategy, while the agents handle the execution in the background.

The result is smarter automation, faster outcomes and AI that truly feels like part of your team, not just another tool on the side.

2. Agentforce Voice: AI With Emotional Intelligence?

We’re especially excited about this one at ProQuest. Over the past year, we’ve been working with Agentforce to power live chat and automation, and one question kept coming up: “When can we have Agentforce talking to our customers?” Now, the answer is here. Agentforce Voice builds on everything we’ve done so far and takes it further by bringing real conversation into the experience.

Agentforce Voice is Salesforce’s new conversational layer that lets AI agents speak, listen and respond in real time. They can pick up on tone and intent, understand what’s being said and smoothly hand over to a human when it makes sense.

For many of our customers with large contact centres, this is a big deal. Voice agents can now handle everyday calls with warmth and personalisation, using the full context of past interactions and customer data. That means faster resolutions, fewer transfers and a smoother experience for every caller.

3. Agentforce Vibes: Build Apps with Your Words

Agentforce Vibes is Salesforce’s new tool that lets you describe what you want in plain language and turn it into real apps and agents. It’s not about replacing developers. It’s about enabling more people across the business to build what they need quickly, while freeing developers to focus on higher-impact work.

We recently shared our thoughts on this in Vibe Coding: A New Way to Build. The big shift is that ideas don’t have to wait in a queue anymore. Business teams can prototype and launch solutions themselves, while developers step in to refine, scale and secure them.

Because Vibes understands your data model, workflows and naming conventions, everything it builds feels like a natural extension of your Salesforce environment. The result is faster innovation, more collaboration between teams and a smoother path from idea to delivery.

4. Slack: Meet Your New AI Teammates

Slack is about to change in a big way. It’s no longer just where teams chat. It’s becoming the place where people, apps and AI agents work together.

With Agentforce now powering the experience, tools for Sales, IT, HR and Service live directly inside Slack. For example, a sales rep no longer needs to switch between apps or fill out endless forms. They can simply @mention the sales agent and type, “Show me the latest on the [customer] deal.” In seconds, the agent pulls up key details such as stage, amount, contacts and recent activity right in the thread. The rep can then reply with “Update the stage to Proposal” or “Add a note about today’s call,” and the agent makes those changes in Salesforce automatically. It can even suggest the next best action, like creating a follow-up task or sending a proposal email, so deals keep moving without slowing down the conversation.

The new Agentforce Channel Expert acts as the knowledge hub inside your Slack channels. It’s always available to answer questions, explain internal processes and point people to the right resources, all within the flow of work. Because it understands the context of each channel, it delivers answers that are specific to what the team needs instead of generic responses.

Slackbot is evolving into a real assistant, helping you plan projects, summarise reports and even build agents with no code.

And because all of this happens directly in your conversations, agents are aware of what your team is working on, what’s most important and what needs to happen next. The result is faster collaboration, smarter decisions and work that flows naturally.

5. Agentforce for Setup

We’ve all been there, clicking through endless menus in Setup trying to track down a single permission or update a field. Agentforce for Setup changes that completely by letting you manage admin tasks through simple conversation.

Instead of searching manually, you can now ask questions like “Does [user] have access to Accounts?” or “Build a flow that updates the Amount field.” The setup agent will fetch the right information, walk you through what it is doing and even suggest best practices along the way.

The real power is in how much it can handle for you. In Salesforce’s demo, an entire custom object, flow and approval process were built just by talking to the agent. No more digging through tabs or clicking around for hours. It is a faster, smarter way to get things done and it gives admins more time to focus on strategy instead of setup.

This year’s Dreamforce made one thing clear: the next chapter of Salesforce is here. AI will no longer sit in separate tools or hidden dashboards. It will work right alongside your team, powering sales, service, IT and more.

Whether it’s speaking directly to your customers, building apps in minutes, answering complex questions or handling setup behind the scenes, Agentforce is bringing intelligence into every part of the business.

And that’s what makes this moment so exciting. The future of work isn’t about replacing people with AI. It’s about empowering teams with agents that make every part of the job faster, smarter and more impactful.
