Meet Daragh: New Salesforce Functional Consultant

Introducing Our New Functional Consultant
We’re thrilled to welcome our new Functional Consultant, Daragh Dennehy, who brings a wealth of experience from his 4-year journey in the Salesforce ecosystem. Starting his career as a Business Analyst and Technology Consultant, Daragh gained significant expertise in solving complex business issues. His path then led him to a Solution Engineer role, before ultimately joining ProQuest Consulting, where Daragh continues to embody the Salesforce community’s culture of problem-solving and continuous learning.

We asked Daragh a few questions to get to know him a bit better…

What part of Salesforce do you love the most? Why?
I love the community. Whether it’s a development problem or a technical problem, everyone is always willing to help. The Trailhead community is such a great place for hands-on learning, helping everyone get up to speed with the latest updates in the platform and in their industries.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
Australia’s endless sunshine is a dramatic change from Ireland’s frequent rain, allowing me to indulge in outdoor activities. I’ve played rugby my entire life, but I’m also fond of surfing and swimming. My deepest passion is for dogs; being Mad Paws Certified means I’m always ready to lend a hand in dog-sitting.

What would you sing at Karaoke night?
Being Irish, I’d naturally opt for ‘Some Say the Devil is Dead’ by The Wolfe Tones. But I’m equally comfortable belting out ‘Sweet Caroline,’ ‘All Star,’ or even ‘Call Me Maybe.’

What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?
Google Maps, without a doubt.

What is your favourite part of working from home?
The convenience of a hybrid work setup lets me utilise those extra 10 minutes for household errands or quality time with family, instead of being used up in commute. It also makes it easier for me when I go to the gym in the morning.

What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Sydney/Australia?
Sushi is my go-to, but I won’t say no to some authentic Italian cuisine from Totti’s.

What attracted you to ProQuest?
What drew me to ProQuest was the intimate size and warm atmosphere. The feedback about ProQuest Consulting from colleagues in my previous Salesforce role was unanimously positive. Now that I’m part of the team, I’m keen to see how the company excels in implementing Agile and Scrum methodologies in projects.

What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
The Team- Everyone’s so nice and so helpful and I just got along with everyone so well.

We're thrilled to have Daragh on board, and extend a warm welcome to ProQuest! 🥳
