Australian Utility Week 2016
Australian Utility Week (AUSUW) is a great chance to support the utility sector, and this year’s theme revolved around operational excellence and the future of energy services. The utility sector is currently undergoing massive change, and AUSUW brings together the industry’s best to share insights and ideas about how we can build a more connected, efficient future. There was no shortage of interesting speakers or booths to explore, and it was inspiring to learn about recent changes and developments.
ProQuest at the Australian Utility Week 2016
ProQuest used this opportunity to educate attendees on Field Service Lightning and demonstrate how it enables field service workers to be more productive. Kengo and Laura did a great job preparing a sample work order that walked attendees through a standard smart meter implementation. The demo showed how easy it is to dispatch a technician and log information from an iPad when the technician is on site. Everyone who completed a work order was impressed by the ease and efficiency of FSL, and we were excited to introduce it to field service companies that could benefit from such powerful software.
To make things even more exciting, we gave away a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 to one lucky person who stopped by our booth to complete a work order. Congratulations to Yuri Margoulis at WorkForce Delta who ended up taking it home. We hope you have fun with it!
Overall it was a great couple of days, and we thank the Australian Utility Week team for putting together such an impressive event.
