Meet Our Newest Team Member: Laura
We’re thrilled to introduce our newest ProQuestor! Laura Plotton joins our team as a Junior Consultant, and will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, and testing and configuring Salesforce solutions.
Laura grew up in the beautiful Champagne region of France, and has been living in New Zealand since 2013. With a Master’s degree in Finance and an extensive Salesforce background, Laura brings a global perspective to her role at ProQuest. She’s taken on her first few projects with enthusiasm and a ready-to-learn attitude, and we can already tell that she will be a great addition to our team. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
I really enjoy going for long walks on the weekend with a mandatory stop for coffee (and sometimes breakfast!) and a well-deserved swim in the ocean. I also love anything related to food. Visiting farmer’s markets on the weekend, cooking dinner for my family and friends, and trying out new restaurants in Sydney.
What would you sing at karaoke night?
“Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé. However, I have a terrible voice…
Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I did synchronised swimming for 8 years.
What is your favourite place to go in Sydney?
Being new in Sydney, I still have a lot of places to explore, but I love going to Paddington. It’s a neighbourhood with lots of character, nice shops, and a great market every Saturday.

What attracted you to ProQuest?
I used to work in New Zealand for one of ProQuest’s clients. I had the opportunity to meet with the team and was very impressed by the work they did for us. I was already planning to move to Australia, so when ProQuest gave me the opportunity to join them, it was an easy decision!
What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
Definitely the culture. I’ve always worked for big organisations, so a smaller company has been a nice change of pace. I’m also really excited about the learning opportunity as I am new to the IT industry. This is a great new challenge for me!
