Meet Matthew: New Salesforce Graduate/ Trainee

Say hello to our new Salesforce Graduate/Trainee! Matthew! Matthew is a massive globe-trotter having lived in 7 countries over Europe, Asia, and the United States, finally settling in Australia! We’re certainly very lucky to have him here at ProQuest and we’re excited to be part of his Salesforce journey.

We asked Matthew a few questions to get to know him a bit better…

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
I’m very active in investing, and I like reading about how the world works. But when I need a break, going out for a walk, or binge watching Youtube, Netflix or Disney Plus does the trick.

What would you sing at Karaoke night?
I don’t have to be at karaoke to sing ‘Dancing in the moonlight’ by King Harvest. It’s my go to song for good vibes.

What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?
Youtube. Almost impossible to not find something you like on it, even when you don’t know what you want.

What is your favourite part of working from home?
Life is less stressful without the busy morning commute. Working from home gives me more flexibility around how I structure my day, with more time for exercise. I appreciate being able to control the space around me, start work early, and having access to my kitchen.

What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Sydney?
Ramen. Noodles, umami egg, and a great broth, that’s all I need. My current favourites are Sekka in St Leonard’s and Gumshara in Chinatown, I love them both.

What attracted you to ProQuest?
Mentorship and professional development are important to me. The people at ProQuest are talented and are involved with a variety of interesting projects. I look forward to growing and learning from a team of strong individuals.

What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
So far my favourite part of ProQuest is how welcoming and friendly the people are. I have received a lot of support during the onboarding process and I am looking forward to working with my new team on what looks like an interesting project.

Welcome aboard, Matthew! Your dynamic talents and fresh perspectives are a fantastic addition to the ProQuest family. We’re eager to see the energy and innovation you will bring to our team and clients.
