New Principal Consultant: Meet Clancy

🎉 Meet Our New Salesforce Principal Consultant, Clancy Brodrick! 🎉

We're excited to introduce Clancy, the latest addition to our ProQuest family— a well-established Solution Architect with over 8 years of expertise consulting on Salesforce technologies. Clancy has demonstrated experience across Fintech, Utilities, Public Sector, and Education industries working alongside consultancy brands. Clancy enjoys working with customers, finding solutions to their needs, and taking their business capabilities to the next level.

We asked Clancy a few questions to get to know him a bit better…

What part of Salesforce do you love the most? Why?

I love how rapidly you can deliver Salesforce solutions for customers to demonstrate its value and power out of the box. The ability to scale the product, using prebuilt components and drive an immediate ROI through operational efficiencies, is unparalleled by other products in the industry.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working:

2 things: I love road cycling and gaming. I’m always on the bike, rolling with my cycling crews who all appreciate the importance of matching lycra.

If I’m not on the bike, and not working, I like to jump back onto the computer and play far too many hours of the latest video game trends. That, or trying to get my 3x3 Rubik's cube solved in under 1 minute.

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

I would never do Karaoke, even after a few beers. I’m just not a fan of being the centre of attention or acting like I can sing (I know I can)

What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?

Strava. It just consolidates all the data and makes the whole cycling experience a bit more social, especially within our groups. Road cyclists, we’re a different breed. We’re obsessed with how fast we’re going, how many watts we’re putting out, who else is riding, where they’re riding and can I ride it faster than they can. #KOM

What is your favourite part of working from home?

Probably being able to drink Red Bull without people judging me.

What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Australia?

Can I say my own kitchen? I love to cook, for myself and other people. I prefer to go and get some really cool ingredients, and make something for people to come over and enjoy. If we were having a potluck, I would make my favourite Capsicum and Peanut Thai Soup - something I’ve been making for years and have never heard a bad word about it!

What attracted you to ProQuest?

ProQuest is a small, agile firm, focused on outcomes and not just the margin. In the short time that I’ve been here, I have already seen how differently we engage to discover and understand what Salesforce will add to a client’s ecosystem. It’s just much more human-centred and collaborative that way and emphasises what is important to help our clients grow, scale and harness efficiencies through technology.

What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?

So far? Definitely getting in front of customers and co-designing solutions with them on a whiteboard. The drive to be on-site, side by side, especially in the initial stages of an engagement changes the strength of the engagement for the better. We’re able to truly uncover challenges, collaborate on how to create the right change and discover how Salesforce can drive their goals. We make sure we understand the challenge up front and understand both the why and the what of the client.

Welcome Clancy to the ProQuest family! Your diverse experience and innovative approach bring fresh perspectives to our team, and we're thrilled to have you on board!
