Meet Torin: New Functional Consultant
We’re super excited to welcome Torin Falcongreen to the ProQuest team as our New Functional Consultant 🎉
Torin has an amazing mix of experience that makes him a great partner for our clients. He first crossed paths with us while working at Smart Energy, one of our amazing clients, where he was a Product Owner. During that time, he led some big wins like a full ERP overhaul, a custom sales tracker and new customer journeys. After that, Torin moved to the UK to join another company to learn the ins and outs of Salesforce managed package solutions and working with thousands of organisations. With his blend of delivery know-how, technical insight and client-side experience, Torin is ready to help our clients bring bold projects to life with confidence.
We asked Torin a few questions to get to know him a bit better...
What part of Salesforce do you love the most? Why?
Salesforce feels like an endless bag of tools. No matter the challenge, I’ve never found its limits when it comes to solving problems. Whether it’s using powerful out-of-the-box features or building something fully customised, the platform never stops surprising me with just how much is possible.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working:
I love catching up with friends and playing my guitar. My partner and I often sing and play together. I also train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and recently placed silver in a No-Gi competition in the UK.
When I’m feeling hands-on, I like doing amateur mechanic work. Sometimes it’s just for fun, other times it’s out of necessity. And when it’s time to relax, I enjoy reading and watching old films. I’ve been working my way through Hitchcock classics lately and Rope was excellent.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
White Wedding by Billy Idol is my go to! I sang it at karaoke as recent as last week!
What is the one website (or app) you can’t live without?
I unashamedly spend a lot of time on Reddit. There are so many niche communities where you can chat about your interests without too much spin or bias. It’s a great place to learn, laugh and connect with people who are just as passionate about the same random things as you are.
What is your favourite part of working from home?
Working from home means that I can be more productive, as I’m spending much less time worrying about traffic and commuting. That being said, I love to get into the office and catch up with the crew from time to time!
What is your favourite restaurant or go-to food in Australia?
Bang Bang in Byron Bay is my current favourite for a modern spin on Asian takeaway classics!
What attracted you to ProQuest?
When I worked with ProQuest at Smart Energy, I was blown away by their professionalism and obsession with excellence in everything they do. I knew when the opportunity arose, I would be working with the best in the business.
What is your favourite part about working at ProQuest so far?
So far my favourite part of working at ProQuest has been the sharing of knowledge and focus on self-improvement. The culture of personal growth, means grounds for betterment of every one of us.
